Terms of Service

1. The service

Selino is an online fabric patchwork art generator. You can upload a photo or enter a text description, and the service uses artificial intelligence to create patchwork-style digital artwork. Depending on your plan, you may also download printable piece templates, cutting layouts and fabric swatch lists ("pattern packs"). All products are digital. Nothing is shipped.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and make purchases.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may not use Selino if you are located in, or a resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on a government restricted-party list.

3. Plans, credits and pricing

Selino uses credits. Generating one artwork costs 1 credit, upscaling to HD costs 1 credit and exporting a pattern pack costs 2 credits. Current prices are shown in US dollars (USD) on our Pricing page and at checkout.

• New accounts receive 10 free credits once. Free credits have no cash value.
• Subscription credits are added at the start of each billing month and expire at the end of it. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
• Credit pack credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Credits are a limited license to use features of Selino. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are not refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
• Taxes such as VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your location.
• We may change prices in the future. Price changes for existing subscriptions take effect only at your next renewal after we have notified you by email at least 30 days in advance.

4. Subscriptions and automatic renewal

Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or yearly. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. The price, billing frequency and renewal terms are shown before you pay, and you must actively agree to them.

• You can cancel at any time online in Account & Billing. See the Cancellation Policy.
• Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
• For yearly plans we send a reminder email at least 7 days before each renewal.
• We send an email confirmation of every purchase, renewal and cancellation.
• We do not offer free trials that convert into paid subscriptions.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. By paying, you also agree to the terms of the payment provider you use. We do not receive or store your full card number. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and may pause paid features until payment succeeds.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

7. Your content

"Your content" means the photos, text and other material you upload or enter. You keep all rights to your content. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, process and transform your content solely to provide the service to you. We delete uploaded source photos automatically after 30 days and we do not use your content to train AI models.

You confirm that you own your content or have all necessary rights and permissions, including the consent of any identifiable person shown in a photo.

8. Generated output and licenses

• Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we assign to you any rights we may have in the artwork and pattern packs you generate ("Output").
• Free, Starter and Maker plans may use Output for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as sewing, gifting and displaying the work.
• The Studio plan additionally permits commercial use, including selling prints, finished textiles and patterns based on Output.
• AI-generated Output may be similar to output created for other users and may not be protectable by copyright in every country. Output may contain inaccuracies; please review templates before cutting fabric.
• You are responsible for making sure your use of Output does not infringe the rights of others.

9. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse to generate content, remove content and suspend or close accounts that violate it.

10. Intellectual property

The Selino name, logo, website, software, style presets and all related materials belong to Selino Studio or its licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use our trademarks. If you believe content on Selino infringes your copyright, please follow the notice process in our Acceptable Use Policy.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep Selino available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid service, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription or credits.

12. Termination

You may stop using Selino and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the service. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid, unused fees.

13. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Colours on screen can differ from real fabric, and yardage figures are estimates.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selino Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Selino Studio is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the country where you live. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at support@selino.shop so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
